The Galway Roast is now supporting fairtrade coffee bean producers by roasting fairtrade organic Peruvian bean coffee.
The Galway Roast began life as a café in Tuam, County Galway over 3 years ago and today has grown into a unique company that roasts its very own coffee beans to ensure customers receive the freshest and most distinctive tasting coffee possible. The Galway Roast owner, Niall Murphy initially purchased a 1 kilo roaster from Turkey with the view to roasting his own blend of coffee beans to use in the Tuam café. Niall attended a roasting course in London and after experimenting with different coffee beans and blends “The Galway Roast” was born! It wasn’t long before Niall was getting orders for his unique coffee beans blend and after 6 months of late nights and early mornings he decided to upgrade the roaster. The new roaster arrived in December 2010 and The Galway Roast has been growing ever since.
